The Rolex GMT-Master is one of the most recognisable and cherished pieces in the brand’s catalogue, with its heritage deeply intertwined with the early days of global air travel. Debuting in 1955 and crafted in collaboration with Pan Am, it solved a major headache for international pilots: tracking multiple time zones without any mental maths. By enabling wearers to see two time zones at once, it quickly became the go-to watch for long-haul aviators and adventurous globetrotters—or anyone who simply wanted a taste of that jet-set lifestyle.
Fast forward to the reference 16710, produced from 1989 to 2007, and you’ll find what many enthusiasts consider the peak of the GMT-Master line-up. Driven by the Calibre 3185 movement, it introduced the “quickset” date function—no more endlessly rotating the hour hand just to change the date. Its 40mm stainless steel case, luminous hour markers, and choice of striking aluminium bezel inserts, including the iconic “Pepsi” (red and blue) and bold “Coke” (black and red), made it versatile enough for every scenario, from crossing continents to meeting mates for brunch.

The warranty covers mechanical defects only.
The warranty does not cover damages such as scratches, finish, crystals, glass, straps (leather, fabric or rubber damage due to wear and tear), damage resulting from wear under conditions exceeding the watch manufacturer’s water resistance limitations, and damage due to physical and or accidental abuse.
Please note, water resistance is neither tested nor guaranteed.
Shipping and insurance costs for warranty returns to us must be covered by the customer. Returns must be shipped via traceable courier. Return shipment must be pre-paid and fully insured. Collect shipping will be refused. In case of loss or damages, the customer is liable.
