Sell Your Watch
How do I sell my watch?
• Step 1: Tell us about your watch
Complete the Sell a Watch Form in under two minutes. Drop in the brand, model or reference, note its condition, and let us know if box, papers or spare links are included. Upload a few clear photos so our specialists can assess dial, case and bracelet at first glance.
• Step 2: Get a same-day valuation
Within 24 hours we’ll email you a request any extra detail we need. Every valuation is obligation-free and based on market data, recent auction results and our own sales history, so you can be confident the price is current and fair. If you accept, we’ll send an insured, trackable shipping label or arrange an in-person hand-over at our Sydney showroom—whichever suits you.
• Step 3: Agree on the price and get paid fast
Once the watch is in our hands, the watch is authenticated and the condition matches the description, funds clear the same day by instant bank transfer or cash on the spot. No hidden fees, no waiting weeks for consignment—just a straightforward, secure transaction from enquiry to payment.
Transferring Legal Ownership of a Pre-Owned Watch
At Crown Vintage Watches, we only purchase timepieces from individuals who either own the watch outright or have clear authority to sell it on the owner’s behalf. To complete the sale, you’ll need to provide valid photo identification and sign a Transfer of Goods form, officially passing ownership to Crown Vintage Watches (ABN: 69 679 448 803).
We are a fully licensed second-hand dealer in New South Wales, operating under licence number 2PS29023.
In line with legal requirements, we keep detailed records of all transactions, including a description of the watch, the date of purchase, and the amount paid. If we suspect any item is counterfeit or reported stolen, we are required by law to report it to the appropriate authorities.
