A few words about the Bund strap…Initially designed to enhance comfort and functionality for military personnel, the Bund strap features an extra leather backing that sits between the watch case and the wrist. This backing was intended to prevent the metal case from directly contacting the skin, which could cause discomfort in extreme temperatures or during prolonged wear. The strap's design also provided an additional layer of protection against impact and sweat, making it highly practical for military personnel in the field and aviators. 

This watch not only comes with bespoke premium bund strap as seen in the photos, but also an original NOS Bund strap, completely unworn and ready to use…yes, original unworn strap!

The case is in very good condition for its age, with some visible hairline scratches that reflect its history. Notably, the case remains unpolished, preserving its original edges and finish.

The dial and hands have been professionally relumed with tritium and are in flawless condition.
